Driving through the winding roads of Ella, we stumbled upon Rowinrich Cottages, a hidden gem amidst the lush mountains. The clean, stylish double room offered a breathtaking view across Ella, perfect for enjoying a cup of Ceylon tea while soaking in the tranquil surroundings.The on-site restaurant served up delectable local dishes, and the 24-hour front desk ensured our every need was met promptly. With the option for bike hire, we easily explored the quaint village with its charming boutiques and vibrant eateries, immersing ourselves in Ella's enchanting vibe.Although the view from the balcony was not the iconic Ella Rock we had anticipated, the panorama of the neighboring hotels and Small Adam Peak in the distance still charmed us. The convenience of having a fridge and tea-making facilities in the room added a touch of comfort to our stay.Rowinrich Cottages provided a lovely retreat in the jungle, just a short stroll away from the bustling village center. And as a tea plantation owner, the proximity to Gregory Lake SPB, a mere 60 km away, further piqued my interest. Whether seeking relaxation or adventure, this cozy abode offers a delightful fusion of comfort and nature, making it a perfect base for exploring the vibrant town of Ella.
